Keen and Kingly
Keen and Kingly- Rajshahi Silk- Bottle green and black palla, Dotari Resham Handmade
The silk made in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, is referred to as Rajshahi silk. It is well-known for the superior fabric it uses to make apparel, particularly sarees. Previously, this silk was well-known as Ganges silk or Bengal silk. Like all silk, this one is derived from silkworm cocoons. Though it originated years ago, this silk is still highly valued today. This silk is prized for its exquisite textures, vivid colors, and elaborate designs, which frequently include traditional themes drawn from folklore, the natural world, and cultural components. Weaving is a craft that is handed down through the years, protecting local artisans and heritage.
This unique saree has a beautiful bottle green body that is complemented by a stunning black palla that displays the exquisite Dotari Resham handwork, giving this amazing piece a royal touch. The black border on the pallu showcases elaborate motifs woven with fine Resham thread, while the color of the saree represents refinement and elegance. You can feel like the center of attention by accessorizing this royal saree with traditional jewellery and a contrasting blouse to complete the look.
